So, as you may or may not know, Italy just won the World Cup.
However, had you been in Rome, in the ancient Circus Maximus, surrounded by thousands of Italians, straining to see the three jumbotrons through thousands of Italian flags and hundreds of smokey flares, you'd know. You'd really know.

Yeah, I was in Mexico a couple weeks ago, and people went nuts. I was supposed to return a rental car, and there was a game that afternoon, and the rental car place was closed. The guy next door leaned out his window and was like, DUH, of course it's closed, there's fútbol on, why didn't you plan for that? Um. Right.
